A liquid that has been with us since the beginning of time

Water has a high surface tension

Meaning it can't be separated due to it's hydrogen bonds preventing it to split.

A molecule with a slight positive charge on one end and a slight negative charge on the other end; also called a dipole.

Water is a universal solvent

That means it can make anything that can dissolve in it, dissolve.

Water has a high specific heat.

This means that water as an amount of heat needed to rise the temperature of 1 g of a substance by 1'C
