EDWin DRake: Drilled the first oil well in 1859 Titusville, Pennsylvania. This led to an economic expansion from a rise in oil.

Thomas Edison: invented the first phonograph in new jersey 1877. It projected sound and also recorded sound.

Alexander Bell: Created the first telephone in 1876. this telephone allowed for communication to revolutionize. people could talk to each other from other sides of the country.

Thadddeus Lowe: created the first ice machine. this was the basis of the refrigerator. it would allow people to store food for longer.

cyrus field: laid the first telegraph cable across the Atlantic ocean. this allowed for faster communication between the united states and Europe.

THE MOST IMPORTANT INVENTION TO ME WOULD BE THE TELEGRAPH CABLE. IT APPLIES MOST TO MY LIFE BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY IN EUROPE.
