A hurricane is a dangerous catastrophic event that is formed in a sea or large body of water. It can be up to 600 miles across and last over a week. It moves over the sea 10-20mph with winds that travel between 75 and 200mph.

However, hurricanes are different from extratropical cyclones, the most common type of storm in the U.S.,because a hurricane has warm air in the center. The eye of a hurricane can be described as warm, with light winds, and calm weather.

Trees, people, and grass were all biotic factors affected by hurricane Dennis. Trees bended and broke, people were thrown about and drowned by the water, and grass was wiped out altogether.

Cars, pools, fences, and buildings were few of the many abiotic factors affected by hurricane Dennis. Cars were smashed and carried miles away from where they peacefully rested before the event by water. Pools, of corse, were no longer pools or any form of entertainment. And buildings were either washed or blown down or completely turned into a pile of rubble by the ferocious waters.

On 12/8/05 Trinidad, Cuba with no problems with electricity and so forth. Though there was a few sunshades from cars spread across the beach and the water was not as clear.
