  • Reciprocal took turns asking questions and disclosing
  • Non-reciprocal - one asked the other answered - they then switched (extended reciprocity)

  • Reciprocal higher in
  • liking, closeness, perceived similarity and enjoyment
  • Turn taking self-disclosure is more likely to lead to positive interpersonal outcomes than extended
