Racing Reindeer

Help! Some of the reindeer got left behind and are trying to catch up to Santa's sleigh

It's your job to create a reindeer rocket that can travel the farthest distance to Santa's sleigh.

Criteria

• Your will get a choice of 3 different size balloons
• You will attach your reindeer to the rocket balloons
• Each rocket must be launched 3 times, data recorded, and an average distance recorded.

materials

• balloons (3 different sizes and if break I will replace each size twice)
• straws
• tape
• reindeer pattern
• string

You will also need to...

• Find the meaning of Newton's 3rd law of motion and explain in writing how this applies to this STEM activity...EVERYONE!
• Three work days with data collected
• Last day, based on data, a balloon race for distance
