• Needed money to live

• Community food
• All shared
• Lack of food
• People go hungry or starve because there's not a lot to eat

HOMES

• People didn't have homes
• Couldn't afford them
• Had to sleep outside in a tent
• Nothing to sleep on unless they made it but mainly on the ground
