Cell: Membrane covered structures that contain all of the materials necessary for life. All living things are made of cells.

Cell Membrane: thin, semi-permeable layer that controls what goes in and out of the cell.

Cell Wall: only in plant cells gives the plant structure

Chloroplasts: an organelle found in plant cells for photosynthesis

Cytoplasm: a jelly like inner part of the cell which separates the organelles

Nucleus: usually the largest part of a cell that stores the DNA also known as the brain of the cell

Organelle: a special structure in a cell that performs a specific function that allows the cell to live and reproduce

Vacuole: sort of water storage in a cell
