About Tigers

  • Tigers are the biggest cats in the world.
  • Tigers live in forests and canebrakes of Asia.
  • There are 9 types of tigers but 3 are extinct: Sumatran, Siberian (also called Amur), South Chinese, Indian (also called Bengal), Malayan, and Indo-Chinese. The Bali, Javan, and Caspian are extinct.

About Tigers continued

  • The largest tigers are found in the north and they become smaller in the south.
  • Male tigers weigh more and are longer than female tigers.
  • Tigers only have 30 teeth (most adult humans have 32).

Step 1:

Draw a rectangle for the body.

Step 2:

Draw 2 upside down v's, one for the front legs and one for the back legs.

Step 3:

Draw 1 circle for the head, 2 for the eyes, and 2 triangles for the ears.

Step 4:

Draw a triangle for the nose, an upside down Y for the mouth, and whiskers.

Step 5:

Draw a curved line for the tail, color in the body, and add stripes.

And that's how you draw a tiger.
