CHRONOLOGICAL (chron) Adjective
Arranged in the order of time that the events occurred or took place

Cleo had to write an essay about her life in chronological order, so she asked her parents if she could look at the pictures her family took.

(chron) Adverb
To occur in a habitual, repeated, or long-standing matter

Cleo's brothers chronically poured buckets of cold water from above her whenever she walked out the front door to go to school.

CHRONICLE
(chron) Noun
A description of events in the order that they happened.

Cleo finally made it to school dry and she was ecstatic for school to start, so she grabbed a chronicle, and read it while waiting for her BFF, Brie.

A device (like a stopwatch) that is used for measuring and recording time in a very exact way

As Cleo and Brie walked into their classroom when the bell rang, they spotted a chronograph on Mr. Ray's desk.
