Sunsets are a favorite. Because we couldn't travel to the beach this year (stupid Covid), I have to use a beach sunset!

I have been a Super Berry my entire life! After graduating from Cranberry High School, I graduated from CUP with a bachelor's degrees in special education and elementary education and a Master's degree in Special Education. I just completed my 22nd year of teaching at Cranberry Area School District. I am truly blessed.

Here are a couple of fun little facts:

Years and years ago, my grandfather placed this Super Berry sticker on his mirror shortly after he and my grandma purchased their new bedroom suite. He was quite fond of our Super Berry mascot! I now get to greet this handsome guy everyday!

Dr. McCullough (formerly known to me as Mr.) has taught me during 3 different phases of my education: 8th grade math (and golf coach), undergrad elementary math strategies and now post-grad!

I always wanted to be a teacher but after 6th grade, I realized that I HAD to be one! The woman who inspired me to be the teacher I am today was Dr. McCullough's incredibly amazing mom.

My family is my everything. Pictured is: Brooke (daughter), Sherry (Mom), Cindy (sister), Sarah (sister-in-law), Kristen, Garrett (nephew), Elijah (nephew), Gary (Dad), Brendan (nephew), Pat(brother-in-law) and Dan (brother).

A family of Super Berries... Although my dad graduated as an Oil City Oiler (it wasn't his fault) , after almost 50 years...he is a Berry!

There is never a dull moment when I am surrounded by my four favorite peeps.

One of my most favorite ways to spend my time is watching my favorite girlie realize her passions! Covid provided me and Brooke an opportunity to slow down and enjoy the little things in life. But...we did miss the dance studio, softball field, golf course and theater. Fortunately, cameras travel!

Now that Brooke is older, I have a little more time to rediscover some of my old hobbies as well as create new ones!!

At the beginning of last school year, Brooke insisted that I needed a letter board for my classroom. It became her job to change the sayings each month. Last week, I was ,looking through some of the 17,000+ photos on my phone and came across the first saying Brooke lettered. I couldn't stop laughing. Who would have ever imagined the "adventure" we were going to be thrown in a few short months!!! I try very hard to find as much positivity in every situation as possible. I will admit that sometimes it takes me a little longer to get there. But...I do believe that this will be my new mantra for the new school year...

And so the adventure begin...
