SEA TURTLES

  • Olivia Ridley. All of these are considered endangered. If you are going there
  • To see Eastern Pacific green turtle,loggerhead you probably won't. They are least likely to be there.

PLANT LIFE

  • There is 1,500 different tree species. There is 675 types of fern, more then
  • 1,200 unique kinds of orchids. In the tropical rainforest there is fig trees,
  • Shrubs such as: acacia, eucalyptus, and cassia. Some if the trees that
  • Grow Along the Panama Canal are, many types of fig trees.

ANIMAL LIFE

  • In the canal farming is a big deal for the region,they have a dense forest
  • And vast rivers plains. There are many types of wild life, from wild bears to deer.
  • There as been other animals which has adopted to the existence of the canal
  • Along with reservoirs, such as grey Heron, you will also see the famous white
  • Cattle.

FUN FACTS

  • The Panama Canals', stunning new discoveries, the 80km long canal first
  • Built in 1994, connects to the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Soon after the canal
  • Work began in March 2012 scientists stumbled upon the fossils of ancient
  • Marlins and turtles.

  • Panama Canal. We also learned when they first built it
  • We have also learned about some history of the Panama Canal.
