how: The Physical Classroom

• -include a variety and type of resources (ex. technological, anchor charts, manipulatives, exemplars, etc.)
• -provide safe, quiet spaces in class or somewhere nearby
• -accommodate or modify (ex. wheelchair accessible, seating arrangements, fidget tools)

How: instruction

• -support learning types and needs and -use strategies to accommodate (ex. flexible grouping, choice/variety, know ieps)
• -differentiation: content, process, product and environment
• -plan engaging and unique lessons and strategies (think pair share, jigsaw, place mat, etc.)
