PARDON

A DECREE THAT FREES A PERSON.

CABINET

THE HEADS OF THE EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT OF THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT.
The picture represents the leader of the bird flying the rest of the flock. Has some way of power like a cabinet in politics.

VETO

THE POWER OF THE PRESIDENT TO REJECT A BILL AND SEND IT BACK TO CONGRESS.
The hand represents rejection. That is what
veto is. When something is not wanted.

A RULE OR REGULATION ISSUED BY A PRESIDENT OR GOVERNOR THAT HAS THE FORCE OF LAW.
The picture represents police officers that are apart of the government. They make sure people (everyone) follow the rules by law. Example of executive order.

THE RIGHT TO KEEP INTERNAL DISCUSSIONS AND DOCUMENTS OF THE WHITE HOUSE PRIVATE.

Example of help from other people as your “personal staff” which a lot of workers and presidents have in the White House.

AN ORGANIZATION WITHIN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH THAT CARRIES OUT THE WORK OF GOVERNMENT IN A BROAD AREA OF PUBLIC POLICY, SUCH AS AGRICULTURE OR LABOR.
There are small groups that carry out things like work, News, etc. that’s what this picture shows about executive departments.

INDEPENDENT AGENCIES

AN ORGANIZATION WITHIN THE EXECUTIVE BRANCH THAT DOES NOT BELONG TO ANY EXECUTIVE DEPARTMENT AND ANSWERS DIRECTLY TO THE PRESIDENT.
