EARLY LIFE

• Wes was raised in a strict Baptist household where he saw very few movies because of his parents religious beliefs.
• Wes went to Wheaton College after high school, but had to take a break because he became ill.
• When Wes returned to college, he went to Johns Hopkins university and took an interest in writing. He served as the literary magazine editor and earned his masters degree in 1964.

NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET

• The setting of the movie took place in the fictional town of Springwood, Ohio, where several teenagers are stalked and killed in their dreams (and thus killed in reality) by Freddy Krueger. The teenagers were unaware the cause of the strange phenomenon, which was because their parents killed Freddy Kruger when he was alive. Freddy goes back and haunts their kids in their dreams.

• Like Nightmare on Elm street, Freddy Kruger is in the movie. After about the eight time getting kicked out of kids dreams, Freddy had enough. He needed a way to come back and haunt the kids, so he goes to hell and brings Jason into the world to make kids remember Freddy. When his plan works, Jason realized that he was being used by Freddy and Freddy was controlling him. Jason and Freddy fought to the death.
• Movie was made in 2003 and follows both the movies, Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th.
