The protagonist in my book is vega Jane she is the main character. I chose the photo because vega is really curious and likes to see what's happening or what's up...

The setting is in a isolated town called wormwood surrounded by a forest called "the quag" where people aren't allowed to leave.
I chose the picture because during the whole book it makes the town seem old and broken down.

The conflict in the book is vega sees a friend of hers get chased into the quag and she starts to find clues he left her and plans to run away to the quag but she needs to find out what certain people know. I chose the photo because the dark forest reminds me of the quag and how weird it makes you feel.

Rising action 1 is when vega sees her friend run into the quag and it sparks a whole subject on finding clues and things he left for her and her keeping everything a secret. I chose the photo because it's a dark forest (like the quag) and there is a path to show he left.

Rising action 2 is when Vega's family is gone because she saw her parents "die" and her brother is taken from her and she realizes she has nothing to lose. I chose the photo because it is a person standing alone and vega was alone in the book.

Vega and one of her friends finding out secrets from her past and something weird about someone. I chose the photo because they where just finding out about something from her past and they're questioning it.

The climax is vega getting sentenced to fight it this almost annual fight thing they have called "the duelum" because the head council finds out what she knows and stuff and if she runs away they will execute her friend and if she doesn't fight they will send her to jail. I chose the photo because it is a court room and that's where it all happens.

Falling action one is vega winning all of her fights and winning "the duelum". I chose the photo because it is two people fighting and vega was fighting and winning.

Falling action 2 is vega being pulled through a looking glass (mirror) and a monster animal thingie from the quag attacks her and she eventually figures out someone knows so she smashes their looking glass. I chose the photo because it is a looking glass and it takes place there.

The resolution is vega running with her friend Daniel or (Delph) into the quag away from wormwood and it goes on in the sequel "the seeker". I chose the photo because it resembles the quag and how they escape.
