  • Purpose of phone etiquette is to to also learn good business practices.

WHY PHONE ETIQUETTE

  • Learn how to use manners on the phone
  • Represent your brand better.
  • Improve your business to customers.

PHONE ETIQUETTE VERBAL

  • Answer the call within three rings
  • Immediately introduce myself
  • “Hi my name is Gerald but you can call me Jake(make it comfortable)”
  • Speak clearly.

PHONE ETIQUETTE (VERBAL)

  • Only use speakerphone when necessary
  • No, Public place, restaurants, parks, places where people are located
  • Yes, your own home, your office, anywhere that its just you.

  • Ask before putting someone on hold.
  • If you dont know the answer? Be honest!
