  • Lake Tana and lake Victoria were the two sources of the Nile river
  • The area of ancient Egypt was very populated
  • Ancient Egypt was built around the area of the Nile river to help with farming
  • The three farming seasons of Egypt were called Akhet,peret, and shemu

  • The king was known as the highest rank in ancient Egyptian society
  • If people worked hard enough they could move up in society
  • People couldn't choose their rank they were born into their class

PYRAMIDS FACRS

  • Egyptians had to have four skills to help construct the pyramids
  • The pyramids could also be used as houses
  • The pyramids were complex in their construction as they could have multiple levels
  • Pharaohs were high in society as they often had statues built for them
  • Pyramids are known to be some of the biggest structures in the world

  • There were 30 different symbols in hieroglyphs
  • It was mostly written on papyrus paper
  • They represented ideas and objects but they could also stand for symbols
