The right way to get Vitamin D from the sun

1. every minute = approximately 400 IU's of Vitamin D. If 15 minutes = 6,000 IU's. HOWEVER, age is a factor. After the age of 65 the factor is 40% less absorption. Therefore based on 6,000 IU's = 3600 IU"s. Still pretty good.
2. Don't wash it off for a few hours. A light wash off is okay. Otherwise you are greatly reducing the amount to be absorbed.
3. Expose at least 60% of your body for best results.
