Places like Starbucks are making their food based on their customers behavior. They are concerned how their food looks in photos and how famous it's going to be on sites like Twitter and Facebook.

What's Being Changed?

Chili’s restaurant chain. In 2015, it announced that it would spend $750,000 a year to improve how its food looked in photos. An egg wash would be applied to the hamburger buns to give them an eye-catching shine. The french fries would be served in stainless-steel baskets. The ribs would be separated and stacked instead of being served as a single slab. Chili’s had 25,000 followers on Instagram, news reports said. Now, it has just under 200,000. Brands are definitely thinking more about social media when they’re developing their products. We want people to talk about it, and blog about it.

Conclusion

Food is all over social media. It's fame mostly comes from social media. A lot of brands try to make their food picture perfect. When food brands are making new foods they always have social media in mind. A lot of food that are made are based on customer behavior. My opinion about this topic is that it's dumb. If brands like chipotle make their food based on looks they are going to be concentrated on the look and not the taste. The food is not going to taste good. The food may look really good but it's going to taste really bad.
