ABSOLVE (AB-ZOLV)
Definition: To set free or release, as from some duty, obligation, or responsibility.
Sentence: Rulers must not be suffered thus to absolve themselves of their solemn responsibility.

Definition: natural, basic, or habitual repugnance; aversion.
Sentence: Falling to endorse is not the same as expressing antipathy.

Definition: Places diametrically opposite each other on the globe.
Sentence: Maryland and Washington are antipodes to one another.

Definition: To bring under complete control or subjection; master.
