Thunderstorms start when air rises the air gets cooler. Water vapor condenses and it forms clouds. When condensation happens heat helps the thunderstorm grow. Eventually condensation happens, and rain comes down.

A super cell is a storm that is a single cell. strong winds can come from the ocean making their farm vulnerable to the thunderstorm.
If there is lightning and people are in the ocean the lightning could hit the water and electrocute anyone in the ocean.
If their farm sells fish the fish could get electrocuted and their business might go down in sales.
