PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Ocean Park

By: Alexandra DeGroot

Laying here in a completely dark room,

My mind is running a million miles an hour.

The moonlight trying to peak through the curtains,

But it can't enough to make any impact.

The waves crash loudly against the shore.

It's like they're angry.

The clouds let out a loud sob of sadness.

It seems like mother nature feels the same way I do.

The room is bitter

My fingers are going to break into a million pieces.

It feels like a winter night.

It hurts to breathe;

The cold, brittle air makes it hard to take a breath.

My vision starts to get blurry,

And then I feel it.

A cold substance runs down my face.

They start to run faster, and faster, and faster!

Now it's impossible to stop the cold, wet tears from coursing down my cheeks.

I don't think they'll ever stop.

The wind tastes like the Pacific Ocean.

I just wanted to hold your gentle hands,

Be wrapped in your arms.

And I can't forget your midnight scent.

I just wanted to see your beautiful eyes and gorgeous smile, and know you're mine,

But I guess I'm not enough for you.

You were what kept me warm,

And now you're gone.
