The Air Force used to be part of the Army and there were only 4 branches of the military and it was called the Air Corps.
The Air Force protects the sky from enemy aircraft.
The Air Force owns helicopters, cargo planes, and fighter Jets.
The Air Force welcomes their commanders by stomping on the roof of their house.
Chapter 2
The fighter jets of the Air Force
The F-117 Fighter Jet was inspired by the aerodynamics of a bumblebee.
The U.S. Air Force owns 34 planes that can break the sound barrier.
The Air Force has a national stunt team for the birthday of the Air Force and will do daring stunts.
In 1956 due to high speed a F-11 fighter jet shot itself because it was faster than its own bullet.
The official costs of a Blue Angle fighter jet is 21 million dollars.
In a maneuver called the diamond 360 the Blue Angels fly just 18 inches apart from each other.
