  • He was 32 years old and a friend of Lewis' from the Military.
  • The purpose of their expedition was to explore the newly bought land.

  • The 2nd Great Awakening was a religious revivial.
  • Preachers offered a simple message that everyone could grasp.
  • Had a growth on the Democracy of Religion.
