UPPER CLASS

  • Upper class makes up 1% of the population
  • Divided into two groups: old money and new money
  • The magi is the highest class in Magi

UPPER MIDDLE CLASS

  • Primarily high income business people and professionals
  • Power and influence afe limited to community level
  • Dijinn users are the second highest class in Magi

LOWER MIDDLE CLASS

  • White collar jobs
  • Many hold traditionsl balurd and are political conservatives
  • Magicians are the third highest class

WORKING CLASS

  • Hold jobs that require manual labor
  • Few fiancial reserves
  • Warriors at the second lowest class in Magi

WORKING POOR

  • Work at the lowest paying jobs
  • Mau work hard but rarely make a living wage
  • Humans are the lowest class in Magi

MEDICAID

  • Goal of improving health and health care for beneficaries
  • Serves uninsured children up to 19
  • Eligibility: meet the federal poverty level (44k for a family of four)
  • I think this lets families that are struggling be able to relax and not worry about dying

SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

  • Offers nutrition assianxw to low income families
  • Eligibility: Meet their monthly income chart
  • I think this allows families know that they can still put food on the table

SOCIAL SECURITY

  • Benefits: retirement, disability, medicare, supplemental secuirty income
  • Elgibility: Us Citizen, no violent background, living in US
  • I think this helps people worry less about what to do when they're too old to work

POVERTY IN THE US

  • The poverty rate in 2013 was 14.5%
  • In 2013, 45.3 million people were in poverty
  • The poverty rate for children under 18 fell 19.9% in 2013
  • The porverty rate for ages 18-64 is 13.6
  • Poverty rates have been slowly decreasing
