• Bleeding in kidneys

Signs of this disease include

• Exsesive bleeding after dental work
• Nosebleeds that last 10-15 minutes
• Blood in Urine
• Easy Brusing
• Lumpy Bruises

Von Willebrand Disease attacks
the digestive and excretory systems of our body. This results in blood in urine and feces. Excessive and prolonged bleeding events may occur as well as becoming easily bruised.

The disease is relatively common in the U.S and occurs when the body doesn't produce enough fibrin, so clots are not as efficient

People with Von Willebrand have a faulty gene that causes problems with the protein fibrin that they inherit from their parents.

We believe that we can make Steven's dream come true by taking him to the summit of Mt.Fuji and let him plant a flag at the top
