Well, I have always wanted to draw a comic book since I was a kid. I really liked the Garfield series when I was young. But now I love manga and that genre of comic book writing entertains me.
I did but, I really didn't like the outcome. I had higher expectations for this comic book for example, a good ink pen for outlining. But if I redrew what I've done, it would look a lot better.
For artists it's hard to keep motivated. I struggled a bit at times but, I came up with new ideas and tried out new styles. I finally finished a few chapters when I found what style I liked.
Well, I had a lot of problems, it's hard to start a comic book because you don't know where the story is going to end up. Original designs are difficult and inking is hard to. But I got past it and liked the outcome.
Well, it's debatable. Usually I don't hear a lot of people going to college to write a comic book. But, I think these skills will help me as a illustrator for books. Or, it could help me become a art therapist.
I would create a Mook, or a book just filled with drawings that I have done over a course of time. For example I would put a picture from how I drew at the beginning at the year then slowly lead on to what I do today. It's amazing how many styles I've tried to do.
