PRESENTATION OUTLINE

THE AFTER-GOVERNMENT

Kelsey Searcy

We need a government. Why?

There are needs and passions of individuals. Without government, there is no justifiable way to lawfully solve disputes between one another. We need government to keep the country together. We also need to have our everyday lives safe and stable.

The government needs to protect it's citizens. The government should help with the exchange of money, goods, and trade with other countries. Mostly, the government has to protect the basic rights of each citizen.

Everyone who lives within the country will be treated equal and have the same rights. There is no one who is greater than anyone else.

The people will choose the leaders to represent each state. There will be 4 leaders for every state. Each leader will serve a 3 year term.

The government will look to the leaders of each state and find the state laws for each. All together, they will discuss national laws that are only needed to protect each citizen's rights and keep the peace. Anything irrational will be discussed between the people and their leaders.

If someone breaks the laws, a time in prison will be paid. Major crimes will result in the gallows.

The leaders establish the constitution and if it needs to be amended, the leaders of each state will discuss it.
