  • Stay Calm/ Breath

Stay Calm/ Breath

  • In our specific situation it is at night and being locked in a trunk. As in any crisis the most important thing is to stay calm. You must breath and be calm while being competently aware of your surroundings.

Evaluate Your Surroundings

  • Next, you always need to be taking in your surroundings and finding anything that could possible help.

Gain Access to the Outside

  • Whether it's kicking out the tail light or finding a trunk resale you need to have a way to signal or see outside. This is imparitive to your survival and rescue.

Signal for Help

  • If you have your phone contact the authorities to track you or notify the general area you are currently in.

Look for Escape Route

  • This goes back to the second rule. Always evaluate your surroundings including looking for an escape route. Don't force the escape but if you see a opening then take it.

  • Sometimes the best thing you can do is sit and wait for help. Don't put yourself at risk and don't take unnecessary chances.
