• Wrap the cuff just above the elbow, secure with Velcro - Hose runs down the forearm
• Place stethoscope under cuff in bend of elbow
• GENTLY close the valve, put stethoscope in ears
• Pump to 160, slowly open valve listening for "booms".
• On the gauge, note when the booms start and stop. Express as a pair: 108/74
• ANYONE WHO WANTS TO STOP CAN JUST PULL OFF THE CUFF AT ANY TIME.
