HEAVEN IS FOR REAL

WHAT IS IT ?

• Colton Burpo gets diagnosed with something but Colton and his family can't figure it out.
• Visit many doctors, but none of them can figure out what it was.
• Mom and dad have been trying to get Colton in to the best doctor... but the doctor is just too busy to answer any calls.
• After many phone calls and doctor appointments Colton's mom and dad finally get a call back from the doctor.

DID THEY FIGURE IT OUT ?

• The family meets with the doctor.
• Colton gets an x-Ray.
• Colton parents wait in office while Colton lays there holding his stomach in pain.
• The doctor comes back with the results.
• Colton's appendix is about the burst and he needs to be in surgery right away! But there is a hard chance of him living.

IS HE STILL ALIVE ??

• Colton's parents wait anxiously.
• 1 hour later: Come Colton, Come on!
• Finally, the Doctor came back with the results.
• Doctor: he was so close...
• Colton's parents cried.
• Until the Doctor said after " he was so close to not living ".
• They were so happy.

TEARS OF JOY

• An hour later from when the parents heard the results the doctor said they could go and see him now.
• They saw him and started crying.
• Colton asked, "why are you crying?"
• Colton's mom said, "oh honey, they are tears of joy."

CAN'T I GO HOME ?

• Next few days were hard for Colton. Lots of headaches and stomachaches and more.
• Finally, he was feeling better.
• He kept asking the doctor, "can I go home now ? Can I go home now?"
• Colton's parent didn't know why he wanted to go home so badly.

WHAT IS IT ?

• When Colton's mom went to go out to the drug store to get Colton some Advil for his non-stop headaches Colton's father finally had some alone time with him.
• Colton's dad asked Colton why he wanted to go home so badly.
• Colton said he had to tell his parents something important.
• What it is Colton ? What is it ?

TELL ME PLEASE !!

• Colton's dad was eager to know.
• Colton said he could not tell his dad or mom what happened.
• But Colton's dad made him.

EXCUSE ME . . .

• Colton told his father everything that he had to tell him.
• He started off by saying "I saw heaven dad"
• Excuse me ??!!
• I saw heaven. I saw God, and angles, and the 12 disciples dad.

DON'T TELL

• Colton: I went to heaven dad and then I guess I came back to life.
• Colton's dad was speechless and confused.
• But he was even more confused when Colton ask him not tell anyone, even his mother.

WHY NOT ?

• Colton's dad had to tell his wife.
• But, he knew he could not do that to Colton after what he has gone through.
• Colton wanted to tell his mom when they got home. Instead of at the hospital.

HOME SOUND GOODS

• Colton's doctor finally said he could go home.
• He was so excited and relieved.
• Home sounded good to him.

EXCUSE ME (AGAIN)

• Colton told his mom that night they got home.
• Said was as shocked as her husband.
• Maybe even a little more shocked because her husband knew this the whole time !!

HAPPILY EVER AFTER

• Colton told his mom and dad everything that happened.
• Who he saw, who he touched and talked to.
• He said it was like a dream but real.
• He was relieved that he told his mom and dad everything .
• From there Colton lived a very happy life and a great story to tell.
