Cultural days celebrate the diversity of London and all of it's people. Everyone comes together and celebrates one another and explores their arts and traditions.
Housing is much cheaper compared to prices in Toronto, making it a desirable city to settle in.
London is home to dozens of nature parks where citizens come to relax and enjoy the clean environment.
London is sustainably using its resources in order to keep the environment clean. There are strict rules on garbage disposal and caps are put on major air polluting factories.
Most jobs in London are in the tertiary industry. UWO has a lot to do with this because it provides hundreds of jobs for professors and administrative staff.
Liveability in 2067
- As population increases, house prices will increase due to higher demand
- London must maintain their sustainable uses of fossil fuels and other pollutants as well as littering and garbage disposal in order to maintain their environment
- More job oppurtunities must be made to satisfy the growing population
Demographics in 2067
- population will increase as more and more youth is reproducing
- London's clean and safe environment is attracting many people to come live there
- the number of students attending UWO is gaining each year and causing the population to increase
Rising Temperatures
- average temperature projected to increase by 5°C
- will receive more frequent flooding (biggest impact of climate change)
- greenhouse gas emissions must be lowered even more to slow down the process of increasing temperatures
London is a gorgeous city with many pull factors. It has a clean environment and diverse population. But in order to take proper care of both, London must make sure to do it's best to keep their city sustainable.
