The AK 47 is one of the most widely used and known weapons today, it is known for it's low cost rate, dependability and how easy it is to obtain it.

But who made this revolutionary gun?

Mikhail Kalshnikov was born on the tenth of November, 1919. To Timofey Aleksandrovich Kalashnikov and Aleksandra Frolovna Kaverina. He had nineteen siblings, eight whom survived to adulthood. He was close to death at the age six.

He was enlisted into the Almighty Red Army in 1938. There he assigned to Tank Engineer he later promoted to tank commander in 1940.

He was wounded in the battle of Bryansk and hospitalised until 1942. While he was in hospital he heard some of his comrades complaining about the problems of their current infantry rifle. So as soon as he was discharged he went on to work on what we know as the AK-47 today.

The design was taken from the German StG 44 and MP40. It's goal was to be a gun as reliable as the Mp40 yet as simple as the Stg 44.

The Ak-47 was first registered Mikhitim,(Mikhail and his dad Timofrey)

Kalashnikov also went on and made the AKM, AK-74, PK machine gun and RPK light machine gun

Mikhail Kalashnikov in no way, shape or form invented guns, but he made one of the most popular rifles today, so popular that they are not just simply known as ARs(assault rifles) anymore, they were their own branch of weaponry named the Avtomat Kalashnikova (AK). He revolutionised the gun market by creating a weapon that would live down in history. A weapon that would even be adapted to be on Mozambique's national flag. By putting his fellow comrade's opinion together, the AK-47 was born

Short passage on the Kolibri pistol

  • The Kolibri is the smallest sidearm in exsistence
  • It was named after the German word for Hummingbird, the smallest bird in existence.
  • The gun was chambered in 2mm rounds, the smallest there is
  • Lmao I have a discord dedicated to it.
  • it was made by Franz Pfanfl, a watchmaker.
  • it was supposed to be a ladies self-defence weapon but it had a lot of problems so only about 1000 copies were made
  • it would've been a great idea, if it doesn't get lost in your pocket half of the time.
