Connection :
Parvana's brave actions remind me of When my old horse whisper was stuck on/in a prickle bush I had to be brave by risking getting scratched , cut or getting kicked to get her unstuck.

Connection:
I can relate to Mrs.Weera because one time I had to stay home from school because my dad was really sick I felt helpful that day because my mom was on a business trip in white rock so I had to be the responsible one and take care of my dad when he was really sick . This reminds me of when Mrs.Weera had to take care of Parvana's mother .

Connection : I can relate the to this because on Thursday December 3 2015 it was lunch time and all of sudden the bell rings early and the police showed and all of the teachers and duty moms started to yell at us saying " RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN GO TO YOUR HOMEROOM RUN !!!!! So when I got to my classroom we turned of the lights locked the doors . It was a lock down a real one there was an intruder at our school ! And half our class was gone hopefully safe in a classroom somewhere .
