LIFE STORY
1880, he lived with his widowed mother and siblings in Coryell County.
He was accused of killing his sisters husband.
Sentenced to life in prison.
He started to rob trains, and started killing in the process.

CAREER
Purchased interest in a saloon
Assassin
Price was between $150 & $2000

FACTS
Never cursed
Never drank
Always dressed well
Attended church and read the Bible.
Works as a cowboy and raced horses.
6.
PECOS, TEXAS
Moved to Pecos, Texas. 1891
Hired by George A. Frazer
Moved his family out with him.
Suspected as a criminal.
7.
DEPUTY
Miller got fired after shooting a Mexican prisoner.
Apparently he knew where the pair of stolen mules were.
They realized he lied, so they fired him.
8.
PLANNING TO KILL
Sheriff Frazer was out of town
Planned to Assassinate him.
Their plan was ruined.
Arrested.
9.
BREAKING LAWS
Escaped the long arm of the law.
Ended up not losing his job.
Bought a hotel in Pecos.
Appeared to be living the life of an honest citizen.
The town finally settled down.
10.
APRIL 18, 1894
Frazer opened fire on Miller
Miller shot back and missed.
Emptied his pistol into millers chest.
Miller lived.
11.
DEATH
Miller had a metal breast-plate that he wore under frock coats.
A sheriff had shot him in the arm and leg and then two slugs in the chest, but he survived.
He then died April 19, 1909 from lynching in Ada Oklahoma.
