Dear Mr.housemaster,
I heard that you are going to free one of your slaves. and I thought that I would be the one because I work the hardest, speak three different languages, and I am the youngest. Since I’m the youngest I will have a longer life as a free slave. When you pick me I will give you half of the money I make, and believe me I will make a lot. I have decided to work at a factory that makes pencils. I will be making six dollars an hour. I will try to get a family and settle in.
