Leader - Leprosy, like AIDS today, was a terrifying disease because there was no known cure.

People - Large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the mountainside. Matthew 8:1 (NLT2)

Leader - When the leper begged Jesus to heal him, Jesus reached out and touched him, even though his skin was covered with the dread disease.

People - Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Matthew 8:2 (NLT2)

Leader - Sin is also an incurable disease—and we all have it. Only Christ's healing touch can miraculously take away our sins and restore us to real living.

People - Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. Matthew 8:3 (NLT2)

When the music fades, all is stripped away,
And I simply come

Longing just to bring something that's of worth
That will bless Your heart

I'll bring You more than a song
Is not what you have required
You search much deeper within,
Through the way things appear
You're looking into my heart

I'm coming back to the heart of worship
And it's all about You
It's all about You, Jesus
I'm sorry, Lord for the thing I've made it
When it's all about You

It's all about You, Jesus

King of endless worth, no one could express,
How much You deserve
Though I'm weak and poor, all I have is Yours,
Every single breath

I'll bring You more than a song
Is not what you have required
You search much deeper within,
Through the way things appear
You're looking into my heart

I'm coming back to the heart of worship
And it's all about You
It's all about You, Jesus
I'm sorry, Lord for the thing I've made it
When it's all about You

It's all about You, Jesus

King of endless worth, no one could express,

How much You deserve

Though I'm weak and poor, all I have is Yours
Every single breath

Your love is amazing, steady and unchanging

Your love is a mountain, firm beneath my feet
Your love is a mystery, how You gently lift me

When I am surrounded, Your love carries me

CHORUS:
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Your love makes me sing

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Your love makes me sing

Your love is surprising, I can feel it rising
All the joy that's growing deep inside of me

Every time I see You, all Your goodness shines through
And I can feel this God song, rising up in me

CHORUS:
Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Your love makes me sing

Hallelujah, Hallelujah

Hallelujah, Your love makes me sing

LOVING WITH OUR COMPASSION

“Those who suffer from a serious skin disease must tear their clothing and leave their hair uncombed. They must cover their mouth and call out, ‘Unclean! Unclean!’ As long as the serious disease lasts, they will be ceremonially unclean. They must live in isolation in their place outside the camp. – Leviticus 13:45-46

Large crowds followed Jesus as he came down the mountainside. Suddenly, a man with leprosy approached him and knelt before him. “Lord,” the man said, “if you are willing, you can heal me and make me clean.” Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!” And instantly the leprosy disappeared. – Matthew 8:1-3

2. THE CHURCH’S RESPONSIBILITY

Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
Where He leads me I will follow,
I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.

Lord, I will lift mine eyes to the hills
Knowing my help is coming from You
Your peace, You give me in time of the storm
You are the source of my strength
You are the strength of my life
I lift my hands in total praise to you
You are the source of my strength
You are the strength of my life
I lift my hands in total praise to you

Amen,
