ARROZ DOCE

  • Rice cooked with lemon rind, sugar and milk
  • It is then cooled and allowed to thicken
  • Eaten cold or at room teperature
  • Can be decorated with cinnamon (optional)

  • A soup of potatoes, kale, cabbage and spinach.
  • Flavored with black pepper, garlic and onions.
  • Can have meets added to it such as chorizo.

  • Slow cooked roast beef
  • Cooked with white wine
  • Flavored with pepper corns and cloves
  • Eaten with bacon, onions and garlic
