How do you wash your clothes?

Do you care for your clothes the same way you would for a child's?

Important things to remember...

• You must sort children's clothes into colours and types of fabric.
• Read the care lables on each item.

Things to remember.....

• Turn clothes inside out to prevent fading.
• Wash bulky items together like bed sheets.
• Wash small items together like underwear.

Things to remember.......

• Do not wash slighly soiled garments with grimy ones.
• Make sure you have the correct setting on your washing machine for the right items of clothes.
• Hand wash delicate items like silk, satin and chiffon.

Demonstrate

You need to....

• Take pictures of each step, about 5-6 pictures will be fine.
• Remember to cover each step that you have found from your research and what we have talked about.
• Bring the pictures back in next week so that we can create a storyboard.
• You can email them from your phones or put them on a memory stick.
