M.c Escher was born on June 17th 1898 and sadly died on March 27 1972. He lived in Italy. He was know for his impossible constructions

In his early years, Escher sketched landscapes and nature. He also sketched insects, which appeared frequently in his later work. Escher first print of an impossible readily was "still life and street." (1937) he worked primary in the media of lithographs and woodcuts.
