1.
CHAPTER 15, THE CARDIOVASCULAR, RESPIRATORY, AND DIGESTIVE SYSTEMS.
BY: MITCHELL MCGILL
2.
THE CARDIOVASCULAR AND LYMPHATIC SYSTEMS.
Blood circulation wouldn't go on without it's biggest muscle, the heart.
Blood is made up of plasma, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets.
Lymph circulation is a clear fluid that fills the empty space around the body cells.
You need to maintain your circulatory health. Some ways of doing that are eating healthy and get regular checkups.
Cardiovascular system problems can stretch from congenital heart defects to Leukemia. Some Lymphatic system problems are Tonsillitis.
3.
LESSON 2
THE RESPIRATORY SYSTEM.
4.
LESSON 3
Digestion, absorption, and elimination all occur during digestion.
Digestion starts with your teeth to break the food down, salivary glands to produce digestive juices, and tongue forms the food.
Some digestive system problems are indegestion, constipation, heartburn, nausea, diarrhea, and gas.
Structural problems have a large range of problems from tooth decay to colon cancer.
5.
HOW EXCRETION WORKS
Lungs, skin, and large intestine. Lungs expel carbon dioxide, when you sweat that is a form of excretion, and wastes are elminated by your intestine.
The liver and urinary system are apart of this. The liver remkves certain toxins from the blood and the urinary system removes extra waste from blood.
You can maintain your excretory health by drinking atleast 8 ounces of water eachday.
Two common problems with this are cystitis (imflammation of the bladder) and urethritis (inflammation of the urethra.)
Kidney failures can occur and many other kidney disorders.
