The amphibolite lazuli is a light blue stone but has a dusty outer appearance but if polished it will appear more blue. They are commonly found light blue or darker blue but they are more rare than the light blues.
This rock is formed near rivers and ocean lines but very very deep under ground just at the end of the crust. Sometimes they can be found right at the bottom of the ocean floor. Either way it is dangerous to mine for a small amount because the deposits are not that big. It is a metamorphic rock.
The amphibolite lazuli is made up of amphibole minerals and plagioclase feldspar witch are mainly green, brown and black colour. And you can find lapis lazuli in them hens the name amphibolite lazuli. A mineral is a natural occurring solid that has a crystal structure that can be found in rocks. A rock contains minerals or some are just made up of one. It is good for construction because it is harder than limestone and granite plus it looks more better with its blue colour.
