long long ago people thought that all of the takahe were extinct

but in November 20 1948 a man named Geoffrey orbell found some in the mountains   

and takahe are super super rare in the hole new Zealand

takahe are flightless but the weird thing is it can climb instead

kiwi,s are the NZ birds who mark NZ and live NZ only

and at night at kapiti island you can see them in the bushes

kaka are a cosine with the kea

but the kaka has a silver head but the kea dosen,t

and the kaka also lives in NZ and in kapiti island

fantail can be found in the north island and the south island

but some people eat fantails
