I am an altruist-concern of welfare of other

Positives: strong Practical Skills, very loyal, strong sense of duty,
good at connecting with others.

Negative: inflexible, worried about social status, too selfless, vulnerable to critics

My personality will help me as an entrepreneur as i will be able to make many connections with my outgoing personality

Rob Dyrdek

Was Born on June 28th, 1974, in Kettering, Ohio

decided to forgo his senior year of high school and became a pro skateboarder

Began his exploration of entrepreneurship through shoe design with DC

Launched two short lived companies: a record label and a skate shop

Founder of Wild Grinders, Street League Skateboarding, and The Rob Dyrdek Foundation

Characteristics of Entrepreneurs

  • Tenacity
  • Vision
  • self-Belief
Tenacity- need to be able to push through the uncertainty and obstacles that come with being an entrepreneur.

Vision- need to be able to spot an opportunity or niche when others don't see it.

Self-belief- need to have confidence in ones product and that the world needs the product to overcome naysayers.

Hospitality and Tourism- help people enjoy vacations and activities. Entrepreneurs can be people who start and create their own hotel chains. For Example: Conrad Hilton, john Willard Marriott.

Business- give the support needed to make a business run. Help with overall direction for the company

marketing- either pitch ideas and advertise products or sell services to customers.
