Demetria Devonne Lovato, better known as Demi Lovato, was born on August 20, 1992. She started out on Barney & Friends as a young child. She also starred in Disney Chanel's Camp Rock and Sonny With A Chance. She had some songs with the Jonas Brothers from their Camp Rock album. She also went on tour with them, and released her first album "Don't Forget", in 2008. Following, she released "Here We Go Again" (2009), "Unbroken" (2011) and "Demi" (2013).

In 2010, Demi entered a rehab. She had to drop out off the tour with the Jonas Brothers to do so. About 8 months after she left rehab, her album Unbroken was named to be her most emotional album yet.

Lovato's world turned completely. On May 2012, she became a judge on the X-factor. She claims to be a "happy judge" and proud of it. The following year, her album "Demi" released on May 2013 making it a huge success.

On March 2012, she came out with a documentary called "Stay Strong". It showed her time in rehab and how she was facing emotional issues. Her fans were inspired on how much of a strong individual she was. Many used her music to relieve themselves from personal issues they faced as well.

Rehab was a very difficult time for Demi. She checked herself in for self harm, prescription pill addiction and also for an eating disorder. On her documentary she showed her journey during rehab and she was very upset during the whole process. She felt trapped, and like she had to fix her problems to be a stronger person and a role model and not let her fans down. During thanks giving (on her documentary), she felt sick having to be around so much food, so she excused herself from her family. Slowly but surely she was changing her ways.

During her healing process, Demi got a tattoo on her wrist saying "Stay Strong" reminding her that she is not alone, she will make it through the day. After rehab and her "Unbroken" album, Demi has gained a lot of fans that are inspired by her and see her as a role model because she has overcame so many personal issues and wasn't afraid to come out to the public about it. She is truly an inspiration to many.
