As students inquired about the tools in the app, they had to critically think about how they would use these tools to best reveal their knowledge of their habitat adaptation and the food chains.

Some students discovered they preferred the level of detail in their drawings when using traditional tools - the iPad was one tool in the classroom.

Students had to experiment and test hypotheses when their animal drawings were not captured properly by the app.

One group found importing clip art was a viable solution and shared their thinking on AppleTV.

We co-constructed a criteria then tested it only to find it did not best capture the students' learning - so we worked on it until it fairly assessed the task.

As part of peer assessment, students played each others' games and provided each other with feedback using Padlet.
