PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1.
SAVING THE BENGAL TIGER
the war against extinction
2.
POACHING
The tigers are covered in valuable, beautiful fur.
Poachers like shown in the background kill the tigers then sell their fur.
The distribution of the fur is a very rewarding business.
However, too many people are involved in the business and are OVERKILLING the Bengal Tiger.
3.
POACHING (CONT.)
All the parts of the Bengal tiger after it is stripped can make for a $30,000 payday.
There are rich people from around the world, including the U.S he kill the Bengal Tiger as a trophy
People also buy the fur to wear.
4.
DEFORESTATION
Humans are developing homes, public places, etc. on the tiger's habitat.
The more the habitat decreases the less the Tigers can hunt because the prey are also leaving or dying.
People are stripping the land that the Tigers used to flourish on.
5.
WHY DOES THIS MATTER TO PEOPLE IN AMERICA?
First off,Tigers control the other animal's population .
Without the Bengal Tiger other animals would become overpopulated.
If other animals overpopulate natural resources such as food and water for the natives would diminish slowly.
Also the more other animals the more disease occurs.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER TO PEOPLE IN AMERICA?
As I left off I stated the increase of disease and decrease of vital resources.
If the natives of India were to become overwhelmed with such problems America would have to dish out millions of task payer's money to help.
People in America HATE taxes, right?
It is all a chain reaction .

THE SOLUTION
There would need to be a little bit of spending.
The government would have to create reserves for the Tigers.
Then as the Tigers show a steady increase, they could be brought back to their natural habitat.
It was a plan started back in 1972 but it wasn't followed through.
We can also avoid products like palm oil which comes from resources of the Bengal Tiger's habitat.
There are companies that strip the land for these products, so avoid them at all cost.
