Pumpkin Pipeline

Help!

• The pumpkins in the pumpkin patch are in danger! The irrigation system has malfunctioned and the pumpkin farmer needs a new way to get water to the poor pumpkins.

Your challenge:
build a pipeline that will carry water to the poor pumpkins

Constraints

• You may use no more than 5 materials.
• Your pipeline must stand on its own.
• Pipeline must carry 30 mL of water and carry it at LEAST 30 cm.
• The water should be delivered into a container.

Materials

• straws
• aluminum foil
• popsicle sticks
• play doh
• clothespins
• cups
• Other random supplies from around the room (ASK ME IF I HAVE SOMETHING)

And of course

• Water
• A cup to collect the water
• Meter stick
• paper towels for clean up

Test and re-design as needed
