COMPASSIONATE, LEADER, REBELLIOUS.

Compassionate:

The Tolstoy Farm. A farm that Gandhi started to teach people satyagraha, nonviolence, and even just to give people a home.

Gandhi started a farm were they lived like a big family were they farmed read, studied, and prayed. One time Gandhi was compassionate and let an untouchable family

Leader:

The Cloth Boycott. When Gandhi returned from to India he encouraged everyone to boycott the British sold cloth and weave their own.

When Gandhi told everyone to boycott cloth most people agreed with him and did as told. They already knew of what he did in South Africa, and they hoped he could help save India from the terrible British rule.

Rebellious:

The Salt March. A march that Gandhi started to protest the monopoly on salt.

Back when India was ruled by the British, there was a monopoly on salt. This monopoly said, Indians may not make their own salt they must buy it from the British. This monopoly was unfair why, well the salt was at a very high price and made in the Indian Ocean! But one day on March 12, 1930 Gandhi began a rebellious march towards the Indian Ocean. On April 6 1930 Gandhi arrived at the Indian Ocean with many followers. And there he picked up a pinch of salt and raised it high, Then people began to make their own salt
