PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Leader - The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want. God promises to take over as shepherd of his scattered flock.
People - “For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search and find my sheep. I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I will find my sheep and rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on that dark and cloudy day.
Ezekiel 34:11-12 (NLT)
Leader - We must not despair but remember that God is in control and that he promises to return and care for his flock.
People - I will bring them back home to their own land of Israel from among the peoples and nations. I will feed them on the mountains of Israel and by the rivers and in all the places where people live.
Ezekiel 34:13 (NLT)
Leader - We know that we can turn to God for help. He is still in control and can transform any tragic situation into good for his Kingdom
People - Yes, I will give them good pastureland on the high hills of Israel. There they will lie down in pleasant places and feed in the lush pastures of the hills. I myself will tend my sheep and give them a place to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign LORD.
Ezekiel 34:14-15 (NLT)
Leader - The New Testament calls Jesus the good shepherd. As the Lord is the good shepherd, so we are his sheep—not frightened, passive animals, but obedient followers, wise enough to follow one who will lead us in the right places and in right ways. When you recognize the good shepherd, follow him!
There is nothing worth more
That will ever come close
No thing can compare
You're our living hope
Your presence Lord
I've tasted and seen
Of the sweetest of love
When my heart becomes free
And my shame is undone
Your presence Lord
Holy spirit, You are welcome here
Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere
Your glory, God, is what our hearts long for
To be overcome by Your presence, Lord

3. THE SHEPHERD GUARDS US
"I assure you, I am the gate for the sheep. All others who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. Wherever they go, they will find green pastures. The thief's purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give life in all its fullness.”
– John 10:7-10
"For this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I myself will search and find my sheep. I will be like a shepherd looking for his scattered flock. I myself will tend my sheep and cause them to lie down in peace, says the Sovereign LORD.

Lord, I will lift my eyes to the hills
Knowing my help is coming from You
Your peace You give me in time of the storm
You are the source of my strength
You are the strength of my life
I lift my hands in total praise to You
Amen
